Contract manufacturer Jabil Inc. is cutting 205 of its Bay Area employees. In a pair of letters to California employment officials last week that were made public Thursday, the Florida company announced plans to lay off 166 workers in Fremont and another 39 in Livermore. The job cuts in both cities will take effect March 7, Alicia Marjon, a human resources manager with Jabil, said in the letters. "The company will permanently reduce the number of employees" at the two locations, Marjon wrote. "We do not anticipate that these employees will return to work in the foreseeable future.
